The Day-To-Day Activities
A martech manager with business acumen to come out with solutions and development that help to achieve the company’s business goals. Technology skills - knowledge of how web, e-commerce, software, network and security information works are essential to derive web and e-commerce stability and usability. Strong interpersonal skills to liaison within different business division to translate marketing vision to a technology implementation scope while dealing with fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
1) Strategizing and Management of web and e-commerce
- Serves as super-user and product evangelist for web and e-commerce.
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in usability, engagement, and conversion.
- Develop a comprehensive digital experience strategy aligned with overall business goals, user needs, and industry trends.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging digital technologies and trends and recommend their application to enhance the user experience.
- Develops proper SLAs, structure / procedures, and metrics for each development.
- Identify potential risks and dependencies upfront to mitigate issues down the line with proper understanding of the root cause, conduct studies and research to come up with data driven solutions.
- Improve deployment of new technologies (AI/ML) to reduce manual processes and expedite go to market solutions.
2) User Experience Design and Optimization
- Identifying and implements marketing efforts to improve a business change request; including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts, design digital customer journey (UI/UX) with understanding and knowledge of our backend infrastructure.
- Implements web & ecommerce solution by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team members' concerns; coordinating requirements with interested departments.
3) Data and Analytics
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives.
- Track and analyse app and website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports. Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the product sales, revenue, or improving conversion to assist in driving brand KPIs.
- Analyze data from web analytics, user research, and other sources to identify user behavior patterns and areas for improvement.
- Generate insights and reports to inform strategic decision-making regarding the digital experience.
4) Project Management and Leadership
- Liaison with respective stakeholders, developers and partners to ensure releases, campaigns and fixes are launched on a timely manner with proper content displayed.
- Clearly outlining project boundaries and limitations cut across multiple divisions.
- Full stack communicator – Lead and collaborate with all staff from different department/division, partners and management to ensure new development requirement is aligned with business strategy and meets the organization's standards – design, copy and user experience.
- Multiple platform management skills and ability to practice constant communication with internal and external parties in the business to troubleshoot, develop, set up and deploy their content - and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within that timeframe.
