Job Summary
- Support the execution of the division's strategy, budget, and action plans while implementing communications and sustainability strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Lead content strategy for corporate and sustainability initiatives, represent the company in agency and government stakeholder meetings, and identify relevant NGOs to strengthen ESG and CSR efforts.
The Day-To-Day Activities
Sustainability Roles
• Play critical role in the establishment of sustainability pillars and create sustainability roadmap, initiatives, and action plans in those areas
• Assess risk and identify mitigation management
• Provide background research that will aid company quest to achieve sustainability goals
• Provide insights and creative ways in which company may communicate and showcase sustainability commitments
• Lead in collating, identification and analysis of necessary data based on reporting standards
• Provide relevant insights to develop educational and communicational material and initiatives to promote awareness and adoption
• Ensures company complies with government, regulator and Bursa sustainability guidelines
• Influence and persuade relevant stakeholders, agencies, and partners on company’s sustainability agenda to ensure planned initiatives will have the necessary buy in
• Oversee drafting of sustainability disclosures and reporting
• Facilitate and identify content direction of company’s sustainability training for employees and partners
• Research, identify and secure ESG grant opportunities
• Research, suggest and secure collaborative opportunities with various external stakeholders to deliver sustainability goals
Communications Roles
• Provide communication and sustainability counsel to C-Suite
• Lead in media engagements and develop strategy to ensure consistent company visibility
• Brief and work with Media Agencies to assess, analyses and implement the most impactful media plan
• Manage all experiential activities for the Corporate and Sustainability, working closely with relevant Agencies and the Logistics department for events and placements.
• Develop strategy for a consistent Digital and Social Media Communication engagement plan, working closely with the internal & external Digital team.
• Manage Corporate, Commercial and Sustainability campaigns where relevant
• Work with relevant agencies to produce communications, disclosure and reporting content
Stakeholder Engagement
• Take the lead in engagements involving MCMC and KKD communications team
• Support in engagements with various other ministers and government related agencies
• Take the lead in engagements involving NGOs related to the sustainability agenda
