Job Summary

  • The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of a designated U Mobile store. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. The Store Manager will be accountable for driving store sales, managing staff, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
The Day-To-Day Activities
  • Sales Management:
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets for Postpaid, Prepaid, Devices, and Broadband services.
    • Analyse sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve store performance.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Motivate and coach the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers.
    • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Manage customer feedback and implement improvements based on customer insights.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve high performance.
    • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
    • Address any employee concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Store Operations:

    • Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and organized.
    • Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
    • Manage store expenses and budgets.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.

About You

  • Diploma/Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3-5 years in sales or customer service (telecom preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Problem-solver with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Team player who supports branch goals.
  • Tech-savvy (CRM, POS systems, Microsoft Office).
