Job Summary
The Head of IT Architecture defines and drives enterprise technology strategy, ensuring alignment with digital transformation and security priorities. This role oversees API & Platform Architecture and Enterprise Architecture, focusing on secure, AI-driven, and data-centric architectures. As a key leader in the Information Services Division, the Head of IT Architecture collaborates with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams to establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices. The role requires a deep understanding of modern architecture principles, including cloud computing, microservices, API management, enterprise systems integration, and emerging technologies, to enable innovation and operational excellence.

The Day-To-Day Activities
Strategic Leadership & Security-Driven Technology Vision
• Develop IT Architecture Strategy prioritizing security, AI adoption, and data-driven architectures
• Drive cloud adoption, API-first architecture, and AI/ML integration
• Establish enterprise-wide governance to ensure compliance and cybersecurity resilience.

Security Architecture & Compliance
• Lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust security architectures, focusing on identity-centric access, network segmentation, and data protection.
• Ensure security-by-design principles are embedded in enterprise technology solutions.
• Align IT architecture with NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, BNM, and other regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Oversee identity & access management (IAM), encryption standards, and secure API integration.
• Drive risk-based security assessments across IT architecture initiatives.

Data & AI-Driven Architectures
• Champion enterprise data management, analytics platforms, and AI/ML adoption
• Implement secure, scalable cloud and hybrid architectures with automation
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and AI ethics frameworks.

Execution Excellence
• Budget management, reporting, and operational improvements
• Strengthen DevOps, Agile, and automation adoption
• Ensure seamless system interoperability across IT and business units.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Shift business perception of ISD from "order taker" to "solution provider."
• Conduct stakeholder perception surveys to improve collaboration.

About You
• 15+ years in IT architecture, digital transformation, and security leadership
• Expertise in cloud security, API-led architecture, enterprise data management, and AI-driven solutions.
• Strong leadership in IT governance, compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, NIST), and automation
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, multi-cloud environments, and cybersecurity frameworks.• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate) with a strong understanding of system integration, middleware, and API-led architecture.
• Proven ability to design and implement Zero Trust security architectures, including identity & access management (IAM), encryption standards, and secure API integration.
• Strong experience in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native security, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, BNM).
• Experience in enterprise data management, data lakes, analytics platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), and AI/ML-driven architectures.
• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), DevOps automation, and secure software development.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (ITIL, ServiceNow) and compliance best practices.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere), and intelligent automation for business transformation.
• Experience in enterprise applications (SAP, WhaleCloud, Microsoft, Salesforce) and low-code/no-code platforms (Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems).
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, and technology cost optimization.
• Strategic & Visionary Thinking: Ability to anticipate future technological trends and align IT architecture with long-term business goals. Strong analytical skills to assess complex IT landscapes and drive enterprise-wide transformation.
• Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Strong stakeholder management skills to influence C-suite executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Highly adept at solving complex architectural challenges with a structured and analytical approach. Ability to make data-driven, risk-aware decisions that balance technology innovation with business needs.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable navigating rapid technological changes and business uncertainties. Resilient in managing high-pressure situations, competing priorities, and large-scale IT transformations.
