The Day-To-Day Activities
Coverage Demand Analysis & Planning:
• Comprehensive Coverage Analysis:
- Analyse coverage demand and requirements and using various data sources in translating such demand to high level solution.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of terrain, building penetration, and other environmental factors that impact signal propagation.
- Utilize propagation models and tools to predict signal strength and coverage areas.
• Coverage Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to address coverage gaps and improve signal penetration in challenging areas (e.g., indoor coverage, rural areas).
- Determine optimal site locations and antenna configurations (e.g., height, tilt, azimuth) to maximize coverage in target areas.
- Monitor and analyze coverage performance metrics to identify and address coverage issues proactively.
2. Capacity Demand Analysis & Planning:
• Traffic Demand Analysis:
- Forecast future traffic growth based on market trends, demographic shifts, and subscriber behaviour.
- Identify areas with high traffic concentration and potential capacity bottlenecks.
- Analyse current and projected traffic patterns, including voice and data
• Capacity Planning:
- Determine optimal cell sizes and sectorization schemes to maximize capacity in high-traffic areas.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cell technologies (e.g., Massive MIMO, small cells) to meet capacity demands.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capacity, such as data throughput, latency, and packet error rate.
- Incorporate planning strategies to enhance spectral efficiency and improve network throughput.
3. Industry Collaboration and Regulatory Engagement
- Attend MCMC meetings to understand on regulatory demand on coverage
- Engage in industry group to leverage and collaborate on network sharing solution to meet coverage demand and regulatory requirements
