Job Summary
Responsible for leading the development, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management of the company’s wholesale product portfolio, encompassing both 5G and MVNO offerings. This includes but not limited to large-scale bandwidth, private networks, in-building coverage, bespoke services, and the full suite of MVNO solutions. Responsible to work closely with Sales, Account Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful commercialization of products that meet market needs and align with both regulatory requirements and customer demands.

The Day-To-Day Activities

  • Product Development and Strategy:
    • Lead the development and lifecycle management of both 5G wholesale products (bandwidth, network infrastructure, bespoke connectivity services) and MVNO solutions.
    • Design and develop new product offerings tailored to both wholesale clients and MVNOs, ensuring they meet the market needs and align with overall company strategy.
    • Collaborate with the relevant internal stakeholders to define product roadmaps and innovations for both 5G wholesale and MVNO business models.
  • Pricing Strategy and Execution:
    • Define and execute the pricing strategy for all wholesale services, including 5G services, MVNO offerings, and bespoke solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, market dynamics, and company objectives.
    • Develop pricing models for MVNOs, including wholesale pricing, reselling agreements, and bespoke offerings for MVNO clients.
    • Regularly review and adjust pricing strategies in response to market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence:
    • Continuously monitor the telecom industry, MVNO landscape, and emerging 5G technologies to identify market trends, new business opportunities, and threats.
    • Analyze competitor pricing and product offerings to ensure that the company’s portfolio remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Account Management:
    • Work closely with the Head of Sales and Account Management to support the commercialization of wholesale and MVNO products, ensuring the sales teams are equipped with the necessary product training, pricing tools, and market insights.
    • Provide ongoing support to the Sales team in terms of pricing guidance, product enhancements, and proposal development for both wholesale and MVNO clients.
  • Product Performance and Profitability:
    • Monitor the performance of wholesale and MVNO products, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure that products are meeting revenue and profitability targets.
    • Lead efforts to optimize and enhance products based on customer feedback, performance data, and competitive positioning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the technology and operations teams to ensure product offerings are technically feasible, scalable, and supportable.
    • Work closely with the Head of Business Planning to align product and pricing strategies with the company’s long-term business goals and financial targets.
  • Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Ensure all pricing and product strategies are compliant with relevant regulations and licensing terms, particularly with respect to 5G spectrum and MVNO agreements.
    • Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting the telecom industry, MVNO market, and wholesale services.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Certifications in product management, telecom technologies, or pricing strategy are a plus.
  • Over 10 years of experience in telecom product development, pricing strategy, or commercial planning.
  • Proven experience launching and managing wholesale telecom products and/or MVNO offerings.
  • Strong track record of developing pricing frameworks aligned with regulatory and market requirements.
  • Deep understanding of mobile network services, telecom product lifecycle, and wholesale market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong business case development and market segmentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in telecom pricing and interconnection.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial focus.
  • Leadership qualities with ability to mentor a multidisciplinary team.
  • Innovation-driven and data-informed decision-maker.
