- The Senior Manager, manage and monitor to achieve store performance by tracking and ensuring that the KPIs targets are met.
The Day-To-Day Activities

Strategize and implement the necessary improvement plans in timely manner, thinking out of the box whilst taking reasonable risk where necessary and applicable. Providing the management team members a condensed overview of the business, reinforcing and reiterating the right salesfloor behaviors and action plans.

Demonstrate sales leadership for staff and set performance targets for team and individual, relating to the KPIs and business objectives

Be aware of both local and global environments and their material impact on our sales and business impacts

Propose in-store activities that can better engage the staffs, celebrating team successes while fostering a positive and inclusive team atmosphere.

Instruct and supervise staff in the correct execution of all company operating procedures, ensuring internal compliance.

Challenge the team to go the extra mile, ensuring excellence in terms of results and service
- Overall Branch performance KPI management
- Ownership of UM store business including sales and marketing plans, store operations, P&L, KPIs and all related reporting matters according to timelines
- Review and submit sales and operational reports to management in adherence to company's KPIs and policies. Inform management of decisions and procedures relating to business made at store level and any staff issues.
- Take necessary action to effectively control costs and ensure efficient operation in the store
- Ensure the all UM branch SOP standards are applied and maintained at all times across the customer service, internal control and back-office activities (registration GA, stock, audit requirements, administration, etc.)
- Strategy and program to improve KPIs
- Focus on enhancing customer experience on operation guideline and excellence by driving premium experience and secure stable run rate.
- Engage and build up partner's KPI via incentive program, and optimized Field Force performance to ensure coverage and competitiveness.
- Develop extensive training program to enhance in store capability.
- Ownership of overall business sales revenue and profit target so to provide clear direction to organization and development of overall business strategy to the retail operation team.
- Develop a marketing plan and store incentive program in conjunction with the device and product department launch and strategy. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives.
- Deliver all in-store marketing activity within the agreed budget yearly, so to increase the conversion rate of every UM branch.
- Responsible for leading team to develop strong brand and product portfolio and demand generation activities to grow our business.
- Actively collaborate with other functional department to drive compliance, corporate social responsibility and process excellence.
- Retail Training and talent development:
- Work closely with brand Training Team to execute training plans to drive brand advocacy with field force, brand ambassadors and channel partner floor salesmen, and champion new industry standards to drive education and conversion leveraging brand training materials/ tools and with localisation effort to support product and device sales conversion
- Build and administer sales incentive programs as well as system enhancements to be competitive
- Retail Campaigns & Incentives
- Work closely with Marketing team and Retail Experience Team to deliver a differentiated and delightful brand experience embrace a customer-first mindset cross sell / upsell product & devices and broadband.
- Responsible for the smooth planning and execution of all visual merchandising activations across all branch and experience store, upholding the brand standards and SOP for POSM/ VM and Content plans to enhance engagement and synergise BTL activation with ATL.
- Work closely with Retail Experience team to build retail GTM across all stores to support product launches, marketing campaigns and customer engagement programs.
- Mall Branding & Partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with mall management teams to secure branding opportunities, such as Social media platforms, exclusive promotions, visibility enhancements, and mall-wide campaigns that drive customer traffic into stores.
- Work with mall marketing teams to coordinate cross-promotion opportunities and create initiatives that increase footfall to new and existing stores.
- Market Research & Strategy Development
- Regional Strategy Development
- Conduct analysis to understand regional customer preferences and adapt strategies to fit local needs.
- Develop and implement localized marketing strategies that increase brand presence and align with demographic trends in each store's location.
- Monitor competitor activities in the retail space to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats to brand growth.
- Adjust store development and marketing strategies as needed based on competitive analysis and market insights.
