Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to take on the role of App Manager, with full ownership and accountability for the direction of U Mobile’s apps. This includes supporting the business to drive growth in key market numbers through innovative, customer-centric digital experiences that enhance engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital product management, customer experience, and digital marketing, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
The Day-To-Day Activities
  • Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the app channel, focusing on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
    • Identify, prioritize, and implement app enhancements, features, and projects that improve user experience and drive business growth.
    • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to ensure the app remains competitive and innovative.
  • App Management and Innovation
    • Lead end-to-end app management, including ideation, design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
    • Prioritize user experience and design intuitive (UI/UX), user-friendly, intuitive and visually appealing & engaging app interfaces.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor apps to ensure the app remains innovative and competitive.
  • Customer-Centric Experience
    • Leverage customer insights and analytics to understand user behavior, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement personalization strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
    • Ensure the app delivers a seamless omni-channel experience, integrating with other digital platforms.
  • Marketing and User Acquisition
    • Implement personalization strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
    • Ensure the app delivers a seamless omni-channel experience, integrating with other digital platforms.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Leverage data analytics to gain valuable insights to user behavior and preferences
    • Data-driven decision-making to optimize app features and improve user experience
    • App performance metrics monitoring
  • Stakeholder Collaborations and Team Management
    • Key liaison between marketing, IT, sales and external vendors to align MarTech solutions with digital objectives
    • Mentorship & coaching to team members to foster growth and highperforming team of app professionals

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile app development and management.
  • Proven track record of leading successful app projects from conception to launch - Strong understanding of mobile app development frameworks and technologies.
  • Experience in data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in app analytics, performance tools, and design platforms (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • User-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments and emerging challenges.
