The Day-To-Day Activitiy

  • Lead Business Assurance Strategy
    • Develop and implement frameworks for monitoring revenue streams, profitability, and risks across bundled services, 5G wholesale, and emerging models. Integrate AI/ML tools to automate insights from ingested data like journals, billing and usages.
  • Profitability and Margin Oversight
    • Analyze end-to-end margins using commercial finance principles, correlating costs with revenues (e.g., billing journals) to identify unprofitable bundles, quota inefficiencies, or wholesale settlements. Recommend optimizations to senior leadership for 2-5% margin uplift.
  • Risk Monitoring and Mitigation
    • Monitor business risks such as abuses, compliance issues, and churn through data reconciliation (e.g., usages vs. orders/dunning status). Use AI for proactive anomaly flagging and root-cause analysis, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards like MFRS 15.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Manage the RA team, fostering a shift from reconciliation to assurance. Build capabilities in AI tools and finance analytics; collaborate with billing, accounting, and IT for cross-functional insights.
  • Data and Analytics Integration
    • Oversee ingestion and analysis of multi-source data (e.g., collections touch points, aggregated roaming/IDD) in AI/ML environments. Drive dashboards and reports for real-time visibility, supporting decisions on product performance and customer retention.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
    • Provide executive-level reporting on RA metrics (e.g., leakage recovery, ARPU impact) and business opportunities

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications like CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or TM Forum RA Practitioner preferred.
  • 10+ years in commercial finance or RA within telecom/financial services; at least 5 years in a managerial role. Proven track record in profitability analysis, margin assurance, and business risk management; experience with bundled pricing models and wholesale operations is essential.
  • Strong in financial modelling, data analytics (e.g., Excel, SQL); familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, SageMaker) and telecom systems (billing, CRM). Knowledge of RA software like Mobileum or Subex is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with leadership abilities; excellent communication for stakeholder influence; analytical mindset for data-driven decisions.
  • Commercial finance background mandatory (e.g., from FP&A or revenue management roles); telecom industry exposure preferred for understanding 5G/wholesale dynamics.
