Role
The channel and partner account management role is responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with strategic partners and resellers across various markets. This role will drive joint business development activities, support partner-led customer acquisition, expand penetration into new end-customer accounts, enable sales growth through partners, and manage ongoing relationships with key channel and partner stakeholders.
The Day-To-Day Activities
Sales
1. Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute effective channel strategies for acquiring new partners and driving joint expansion into target markets.
2. Conduct market and partner ecosystem research to identify potential resellers, distributors, industries, and trends, leveraging insights to tailor joint value propositions and partner enablement plans.
3. Support partners in negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closures to secure new end-customer opportunities and achieve shared sales targets.
Account Management
1. Develop new and maintain strong relationships with existing channel and partner accounts, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
2. Understand partner business models, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions, enablement, and support that drive joint sales growth for U Mobile Digital Enterprise.
3. Regularly engage with partners to assess collaboration effectiveness, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding into new end-customer segments.
Customer Advocacy and Support
1. Act as a trusted advisor to partners, advocating for their needs within the organization and ensuring timely, effective support to strengthen collaboration and mutual success.
2. Collaborate with internal teams — including partner support, product, and marketing — to address partner feedback, enhance channel programs, improve service offerings, and drive overall partner satisfaction and loyalty.
