The Day-To-Day Activities
The Talent Sourcer Intern supports the Talent Attraction team by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential candidates for various roles across the business. This role focuses on market mapping, building strong talent pipelines, and supporting recruiters on early-stage candidate management.
This position suits someone who is analytical, organised, and curious about the behind-the-scenes work of recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
A. Candidate Sourcing
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, JobStreet,university portals, and other job boards.
• Use Boolean search techniques (training provided) to improve search accuracy.
• Shortlist candidates based on predefined requirements provided by recruiters.
• Reach out to potential candidates via messages or email to confirm interest and availability.
B. Screening & Shortlisting
• Conduct basic screening calls (optional based on readiness) to assess fit.
• Compile candidate summaries for recruiters and hiring managers.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with active candidates to ensure engagement.
C. Pipeline & Data Management
• Create and maintain structured talent pipelines for high-priority and recurring roles.
• Update internal trackers, sourcing dashboards, and weekly recruitment reports.
• Ensure candidate data is accurately documented in the ATS (training provided).
D. Market Intelligence
• Conduct simple market scans on job titles, skill sets, and talent availability.
• Track competitor hiring trends and talent movement in the market.
• Provide insights to recruiters on sourcing challenges or opportunities.
E. Recruitment Support
• Assist recruiters with scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.
• Help prepare weekly recruitment updates for the TA Lead.
• Support mass hiring or project-based sourcing when required.
