Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales Mid Market Northern spearheading U Mobile Mid Market Sales Team & hunting new Enterprise Mid Market clients in Malaysia selling our product including mobile line,DIA and solutions around 5G mobility capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has deep industry knowledge, and can lead a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and drive the enterprise mid market sales.

The Day-To-Day Activities

  • Lead and manage a team of key account managers to achieve monthly and quarterly Booking and Revenue goals.
  • Hunt for new business opportunities and key market segments while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the team’s vertical (e.g., Logistic, Manufacturing, Hospitality, etc).
  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline health, and conversion metrics, report performance to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns with customer needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.

About You

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the telecommunications or IT industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts. Knowledge of telecommunications products and services (e.g., mobile, VoIP, and fibre) is an advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Customer-focused, results-driven, adaptable, empathetic, and trustworthy, with strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
