The Day-To-Day Activities
As a HR Partner, you will support the delivery of business-focused people strategies by partnering closely with leaders and working alongside a Senior HR Partner. You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable HR initiatives that improve team effectiveness, capability, and performance. This role goes beyond coordination and administration. You are expected to actively diagnose people challenges, contribute to solutions, and drive execution in collaboration with HR subject matter experts.
1. Supporting Business Performance Through People
• Partner with stakeholders to understand team challenges and identify people-related improvement opportunities
• Support the implementation of initiatives that enhance productivity, engagement, and team effectiveness
• Contribute insights on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities
2. Workforce Planning & Talent Support
• Support workforce planning activities, including tracking headcount, hiring needs, and organizational changes
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely and quality hiring
• Identify capability gaps and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address development needs
3. Performance & Talent Processes
• Support the execution of performance management cycles, including calibration and talent discussions
• Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and employee development
• Partner with SMEs to implement talent and development initiatives
4. Organizational Effectiveness & Change Execution
• Support organizational design and restructuring activities through data, coordination, and follow-through
• Assist in driving change initiatives, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution
• Monitor adoption and provide feedback to improve implementation
5. Integration with HR SMEs (CoE Collaboration)
• Work closely with SMEs across Talent Management, Learning & Development, Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to deliver HR initiatives
• Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of HR programmes within the business
• Translate business needs into clear inputs for SMEs
6. Employee Relations & HR Operations
• Support handling of employee relations matters with guidance from senior HR Partners
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices
• Provide timely and practical HR advice to managers and employees
7. Data, Insights & Execution Excellence
• Track and analyse HR metrics (e.g., attrition, hiring, performance outcomes) to support decision-making
• Ensure accurate reporting and follow-through on key HR initiatives
• Maintain strong execution discipline and attention to detail
