Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

• To perform planning and optimization of radio network to achieve KPI and network quality target for the department.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform site candidate evaluation and selection
• Perform coverage simulation, site design and planning
• Carry out optimization techniques including antenna system optimization, parameter tuning, neighbor list optimization and application of features for optimization cluster/network performance
• RF design data production and maintenance
• Analyzing performance measurement counters and drive test logs

Key Experiences and Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.
• With minimum 4 years working experience in outdoor RF Planning or Optimization preferably in 3G and LTE RF Planning or Optimization.
• Experience in handling radio network quality issue, understanding of radio network optimization activities and approach.
• Good knowledge of 3G and LTE network topology, RF planning design and RF propagation theory.
• Knowledge of RF design and planning methodology and RF propagation theory
• Experience in Radio Network Planning for 3G/LTE network rollout
• Experience in Radio Network Optimization for 3G/LTE network
• Experience using performance management tools e.g. Optima, ZTE UME
• Experience in mobile drive test equipment and signaling traces
• Preferably with experience in ZTE UTRAN equipment network.
