Job Summary
Lead data science initiatives to deliver insights and data-driven solutions that support business goals. Drive innovation, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor the team while ensuring data security and compliance.

The Day-to-Day
  • Develop and enhance data models and analytics solutions to generate business insights and improve decision-making.
  • Lead data science projects from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven initiatives.
  • Research and apply new tools and approaches to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support team members while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security requirements, and provide regular project updates and issue escalation when needed.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning using tools such as Python or R.
  • Familiar with data preparation, feature engineering, and data visualisation tools.
  • Able to translate data insights into practical business recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience mentoring or guiding team members.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, deep learning, or natural language processing is an added advantage.
