Job Summary
The Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial closing, statutory reporting, group consolidation, audit coordination, and financial system/process improvements, while supporting business decisions and leading the finance team.
The Day-To-Day Activities
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, general ledger management, and maintaining accurate accounting records, schedules, and chart of accounts in compliance with MFRS.

Prepare and review financial reports, financial statements, consolidation packs, statistical reports, and statutory/regulatory submissions for the Group and subsidiaries, including reporting requirements for SKMM, SSM, BNM, and annual MBRS submissions.

Lead audit-related activities by preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, compliance statements, and working closely with external and internal auditors for statutory audits, internal reviews, and special project audits.

Drive SAP and finance process improvement initiatives, including financial reporting enhancements, cost control structures, workflow optimisation, and team leadership through collaboration with finance members, regulators, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders on ad-hoc and business-critical matters.
