Job Summary
To provide legal and contract management support to the divisions/business in order to ensure that all assigned matters are taken, executed and implemented in line with business requirements, process and policies and to ensure exposure to risk is minimized and mitigated appropriately.

Job Responsibilities

  • To draft and prepare contracts in co-ordination with internal stakeholders to meet requirements of the Company and ensure compliance with the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Review and negotiate amendments in contracts and other documentation by vendors. Strategize and provide continuous legal and contract management support and advise internal stakeholders during negotiations with vendors and their legal counsels.
  • Identify potential risks and liabilities in contracts, propose and negotiate amendments to minimize or mitigate risks and to secure maximum benefit and entitlement in contracts in conformity with the requirements of the division/business.
  • Interface with specialist departments within the Company, including Tax, Treasury and Enterprise Risk Management to obtain advice and guidance. Apply such advice and guidance in a manner appropriate to the situation at hand and to the requirements of the division/business.
  • Attend to post-contract issues and queries raised regarding contracts. Provide solutions in order to minimize cost and risk to the Company.
  • Prepare and finalize contracts. Arrange with internal stakeholders for signing and return of the contracts. Prepare contract summary forms for sign-off by management. Scan and archive contracts.
  • Manage expiration of contracts and attend to timely renewals via the contract management tool to ensure smooth continuity in the provision of products and services to the Company. Ensure safe keeping and good management of contracts and security documents for post contract management records.
  • Ensure up-to-date reporting and record-keeping of list of contracts, including security documents and related matters on a timely basis.
  • Attend to legal and contract management matters assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • 2-4 years of working experience
