Duties & Responsibilities

• Identifies, coordinates and prioritizes in solutioning of radio network design on the demands and problems that are critical to business.
• Dimensioning radio network to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements; nominal planning for 5G.
• Engage collaboration with industry players and ensure alignment with industry best practices, stay abreast of all pertinent technical standards in wireless RF, telecommunications and advanced network technologies.
• Ensure data integrity of planning databases on cell design data, configuration, power setting, antenna design data, propagation models for coverage simulation, etc.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert and perform in-depth evaluation of new features and technologies including development, testing, and validation.

Job Requirements

• Degree in telecommunication engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in radio network design of 2G/3G/4G Experience in radio network simulation, link budget, network dimensioning, antenna evaluation/selection.
• Strong knowledge in RF/Antenna propagation theory and hands on experience using RF Propagation tools.
• Experience in multi-vendor radio network; familiar with radio network nodes and controllers.
