Job Purpose
- Responsible to ensure good network performance via routine monitoring of service quality and performance KPI for PS Core and IP Core network elements. To perform early fault detection via analyzing network performance trending and fast escalation to ensure any problems are mitigated and network is restored to an optimum operating condition.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring for the performance of the PS Core and IP Core nodes by analyzing the performance statistics to detect any service degradation based on the trending.
- Detail analysis and escalation on trend degradation and follow through until issues resolved.
- Set up a process for monitoring traffic and network performance in order to achieve early detection in the event of sudden degradation and to escalate to 2nd level support.
- Ensuring the performance data availability for the daily performance monitoring and analysis.
- Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly report on PS Core / IP Core performance.
- Attending to TT assigned by SOC and provide satisfactory resolution within specified time frame.
- To perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
