Job Responsibilities
- Associate in IP Network design principles, architecture and roadmap. Work with team lead to develop mid-term strategy roadmap and evolution strategy for Mobile IP Core, Fixed Broadband Core and ISP Core. Serve as PIC for product/technology roadmap and updates.
- Maintain and assess network architecture blueprint to ensure near to mid, mid to long term network architecture in-line with AOP (Annual Operating Plan) or business plan. Coordinating with the team lead on AOP strategy and requirement.
- Liaison with other department and division to assess and provide solutions to fulfill business needs.
- Manage and advise overall E2E IP network solution assessment, evaluation and recommendation.
- Take part in topology design for E2E IP network, review of vendor solution, deployment and capacity management of the IP nodes.
- Participate in RFPs (Request for Proposal) & IPF (Investment Proposal) preparation, solution review with costing & seeks for team lead endorsement for project rollout.
- Involve in IP Network cost optimization and network modelling, including vendor evaluation and costing comparison.
- Work as a team to conduct technical feasibility studies and strategy for current and future technology.
- Engage with vendors on project requirement and information gathering.
- Method of Procedure (MOP) preparation and coordinate for integration between vendors and operation.
- Assist and joint troubleshooting with operation and vendors for critical incident.
- Project completion handover documentation preparation.
- Perform IP nodes performance and capacity observation and produce weekly report.
