Job Summary
- Responsible for developing a strong understanding of U Mobile’s Postpaid business performance across all the products and services
- Establish forecasts for Postpaid business, using statistical and analytical techniques to understand the key drivers towards Postpaid’s annual target
- Key personnel and business partner in providing data of new products for marketing division to ensure timely decision
- The role’s challenge lies primarily in the breadth of its accountabilities, requiring significant commercial agility, a nose for inconsistencies, the ability to go beyond the analysis of data to arrive at true business insight, and the presence to support the Postpaid Team Lead and Assistant General Manager in robust commercial decision-making
Job Responsibilities
1. Performance Reporting
• Develop business drivers tracking and reporting framework for new products on Power BI
• Escalate findings and observations of key business performance trend to management
• Highlight opportunities for performance improvement
2. Analysis and Insights
• Lead strategic analysis/ insights study for business performance
• Provide recommendations for ad hoc requests from within the team and externally
• Evaluate company products and industry comparison
• Establish Financial Assessment (FA) for new product launch, inclusive of market research, consumer behavior study and competitive analysis
3. Forecasting and Planning
• Drive business forecast based on business insights to identify business gaps on monthly basis
• Communicate with Product team to ensure the right KPIs and target have been set
4. Business Partner
• To act as a business partner with the Postpaid product team in supporting the campaign simulation, Financial Assessment (FA) as well as post-implementation review & analysis (PIR)
