Senior Executive, Business Operation Support

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible on merchant acquiring business operation which included onboarding, merchant support & business operation. Setup and monitor procedures related to merchant onboarding and changes with outsource business processing outsourcing unit to support daily business operation.
  • To liaise with internal risk & fraud team to manage merchant onboarding underwriting & KYC of merchant business model.
  • Execute merchant changes which require a change in KYC or have a financial impact.
  • Work closely with all the Third-Party Acquirer and Master Merchant partner on daily operation matter.
  • Innovate & working with all relevant stakeholder to further optimise the onboarding flow & business operation processes.
  • Provide sales support to Account Manager for any product, pricing or implementation issues that may occur during the sales process
  • Provide support for periodical reviews and audits on existing merchant.
  • Accountable to approve merchant application as per acquiring SOP.
  • To understand merchant acquiring business model and pricing factor with DFS finance team to manage repricing and inactive merchant portfolio with Account Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with product & IT teams to understand current support process
  • Ensure merchant needs and issues are being met and resolved in a high-quality and timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of payment network rules and operating regulations. Work with prospects and existing vendors, third party payment processor and payment partners to ensure compliance with payment network rules and operating regulations.
  • To carry out any other duties or special project which may assign to you from time to time by Supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Education/ What people Know: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field,
  • Experience/ What people Have Done: Min 5 years’ experience in merchant Acquiring / Payment industry
  • Competencies/ What people Can Do: Able to multitask and good interpersonal skills, able handle external parties (Vendors, Partners, Merchants)
  • Personal Attributes/ Who people Are: Self-discipline & independent, Display a high-level of ownership and superior work ethics
