Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary
Manage the overall accounting, reporting and tax function, by ensuring the compliance and delivery of management reports/ board papers and audited financial statements to respective stakeholders, and full compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements.
TEAM MANAGEMENT AND KPI SETTING
• Involve in divisional KPI setting and measurement process, to identify and formalize performance targets for divisions and measure actual performance against targets.
MONITOR MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORTING
• Monitor the monthly financial closing, preparation and presentation of financial report to management, EXCO and Board.
• Rollout of P&L by region, product, channel dimensions, in joint effort with project team and AI teams.
ANNUAL OPERATING PLAN (AOP)
• Coordinate the rolling forecast and AOP setting processes and involve in preparation and presentation of rolling forecast and AOP to management, EXCO and Board.
FINANCIAL AUDITTING, TAX FILING AND COMPLIANCE MATTERS
• Ensure completion of annual audit exercise and finalization of audited financial statements without qualification by auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax filing and payment timelines with relevant tax authorities.
• Lead the impact study, preparation and implementation of system and process changes required by GST.
INDUSTRY TASKFORCE DISCUSSION ON ACCOUNTING SPERATION REQUIREMENTS
• Involve in industry taskforce discussions on the implementation of Accounting Separation requirements mandated by industry regulator.
OTHERS
• Involve in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Undertake any other duties/functions that are assigned by the Head of Department.
