Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for U Mobile Cyber Security (Telco) - security by design (incorporating security governance/policies, identifying risk, etc), implementation and enforcement of Security policy.
• Raise Cyber Security Awareness to the business and improve/enhance security posture for Telco.Responsible for reporting and managing all Telco Cyber security related incidents, and present report for management.
• Conducting a continuous assessment of current IT Security practices and systems and identifying areas of improvement.
• Conduct technical security feasibility studies and strategy for current and future partnerships.
• To manage the daily operations and implementation of Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) and any issues arising. To liaise with various departments/division to resolve issues.
• Constantly monitoring for potential attacks and intrusions and action.
• Ensure all remediation is implemented timely on risk determined by Pen Test, Vulnerability Assessment or Annual Audits.
• Conduct yearly audit activities, including Cyber drill exercise, ISMS etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT and/or Engineering and minimum 10-15 years of experience working in IT/Network Security technical field.
• Have experience as a SOC Manager / Cyber Security Analyst and worked in a SOC/NOC environment.
• Strong working knowledge of current Telco risks, security implementations, network and software programs.
• Familiar with Telecom Network OSS/BSS and technical solutioning knowledge in PS / IP core.
• Analytical mind, problem solving, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
• Thrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive IT Security forward in Network sphere.
• Keeping abreast with the latest security threats and technology.
