organization is future-proof and is aligned to deliver business objectives.
Responsible for the design, best practices, and principles of technical
architecture and technology roadmap of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic
Champion the strategic direction of technology investments
to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the
return on technology investment
Constantly monitor IT and relevant business trends, emerging
tools and technologies to continually improve the technical architecture,
principles and best practices
Align planning against the strategic intent of the company
with agreed business outcomes within the relevant IT Architecture
Identifying and implementing technology trends that will be
able to support the future success of the business
Architecture Design
Responsible and accountable for all API designs, specs and
catalog
Ensures re-use of existing API services and new API services
to have re-usability design
Define and be responsible for best practices in application
architecture and design principles
Responsible for the update of architecture blueprint
Architecture Evaluation/Implementation
Lead the RFP technical evaluation and scoring
As an SME in the RFP commercial evaluation and normalization
exercise
Review and endorse IT solutions including all major change
requests in ARB or/and CCB forum
Management & Process Improvement
Manage and continuously improve the Architecture Review Board
process
Vendor management - to guide and influence vendors to ensure
the design and architecture are according to ITAD reference architecture and
design principles
Team management - manage, guide and mentor team members,
both vertically and horizontally
Stakeholder management – engage and influence external
stakeholders, for example, C suite and business stakeholders, on technology
roadmaps as well as architecture.
