Marketing Communication (Brand & Digital) - Assistant Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
Key accountabilities:
- Brand custodian. You will be the representation of U Mobile’s branding: To inspire, guide, design and construct innovative comms to all Malaysians based on our core brand values.
- Marketing and comms lead for all things related to corporate brand comms ideas, creative, key message development & all brand-related activities (to both external Malaysians & internal employees).
- Development of strategic brand plan (includes 5G and Network) to create an ‘always-on’, top-of-mind presence amongst all Malaysians via paid, owned and earned media channels.
- Lead the development & safeguard the brand experience via 360° marketing scope: which includes ATL, BTL, retail, Social and Digital platforms.
- Lead the conversation & collaborative efforts with all relevant parties, such as internal stakeholders and external creative & media agencies.
- End-to-end responsibility for campaign ideation, budget management and timely delivery of all projects, such as brief templates, approvals, productions, sponsorships/partnerships, festive campaigns, retail experiences, reports, internal employee engagements, and so forth.
- Motivate and inspire the members of the Brand Team who are in junior positions.
- Reports to the Head of Brand Comms.

Job Requirements
1. Education/ What people Know:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Advertising or equivalent.

2. Experience/ What people Have Done:
- At least 8 years of working experience in Business/Marketing/Advertising industry.
- Experience & knowledge in telco industry will be a strong advantage.
- Have prior experience in developing brand & marketing strategies, comms and innovative campaigns.

3. Competencies/ What people Can Do:
- High proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel.
- Good & comfortable with raw data and have a keen interest for consumer insights, research and analytics.

4. Personal Attributes/ Who people Are:
- Independent, positive and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills (both verbal & written), discipline, meticulous and a team-player.
