Duties & Responsibilities

Bank Recon
1. Assist in GL accounts cleanup and reconciliation (CIMB Contra, MBB Contra, SDO Contra, Unidentified and other related GL accounts)
2. Assist in investigating and reconciling pre-2022 differences between ZSmart and SAP for 240001 GL (AR)
3. Assist in investigating and reconciling differences between ZSmart and SAP for 303110 GL (Deposits).
4. Assist in investigating GL303106 GL (Misposting GL)
5. Assist in performing monthly bank reconciliation, to help in investigating and resolve any reconciliation differences
6. Assist in understanding and knowing to do others daily jobs (Danial-posting with clearing at SAP for AR transactions, Karim-Segregate FPX amounts at bank statement and upload daily bank statements at SharePoint) so that he/she can become a reliable backup when needed
7. Assist in monthly closing process and reporting, data entries, daily reconciliation of bank accounts and daily postings to SAP such as ETP, Deposits, Upfront Advance fee, Dealer Buyout (if during that month transactions are a lot).
8. Update and maintain monthly Reconciliation Templates between SAP and Zsmart, Aging Summary Table and Flowdown Rate Table

Credit Management
9. Trade Bureau Listing to CTOS and EXPERIAN Database
a. Download CTOS Add report on daily basis from Stats Tools. Maintain outstanding balances >RM300 and upload to CTOS website
b. Download CTOS Remove report on daily basis from Stats Tools. Upload to CTOS website
c. Similar Add report to Experian via email to their IT
d. Similar Remove report to Experian via email to their IT.
10. Attend to escalated TT cases from Customer Service
a. For Release Letter issuance
b. Respond to TT cases related to internal blacklist by credit control
11. Enterprise Collection
a. Berjaya & Non-Berjaya account recon + collection call + all administrative requirements incl. retrieving & printing/email the old bills.
12. Welcome Call : outbound calls to registrations that are suspicious.
a. Call list from Fraud team
b. Call list generate from top-10 dealers with highest bad debt customers
c. Other sources from investigation

Collection
13. Executing Day to Day Operation case for refund and chargeback
14. To support as back up for SDO/Enterprise Order/PRM/Dealer/Partner payment confirmation
15. Managing feedback via email for Enterprise and Finance processing-related to posting and adjustment from bank and aggregator
16. Validation on aging report on weekly basis against billing & RC transaction
17. To maintain centralized Collection SOP
Billing & Finance Transformation

Billing Operations
18. Executing Bill Run T+0 for 5 Bill cycles and updating all related Billing Documentation
19. To update and maintain Account Due Reporting and shared between Billing and Accounting Team
20. Provide regular, accurate reports of billing data validation for customers during Mock Up Bill Validation. Should there be a mistake in billing, review the information and recommend that the Billing Ops team to make adjustments to the bills, offering credit to the account if necessary.
21. Managing AdHoc issues via email for Finance processing-related to billing between U-Mobile and customers.
22. Managing BAU defects/CR closure between Finance , ISD and WCT
23. To determine and manage data cleaning requirements
24. Aggregating and cleaning program data from multiple data files and sources
25. Spotting and correcting inaccuracies in the underlying data
26. Interpret datasets and provide ongoing feedback on insights derived from data
27. Diagnose and troubleshoot billing technical problems (functional / performance related)
28. Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
29. Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress

System and Process Management
30. Identifying the current state of processes; documenting models of the processes; and facilitating stakeholder groups to consensus regarding new process designs.
31. Lead the efforts and process to gather and create SOP requirements or process improvements.
32. Act as the supportive source of knowledge for all SOPs and internal policy documents.
33. Lead the analysis and recommendations for SOP effectiveness.
34. Assist SMEs to document processes, develop flowcharts, and draft SOPs.
35. Apply established procedures and guidelines to the keeping of records and the preparation of standardized reports.

Finance Transformation – RPA & Financial Modelling
36. Work as a member of a team or independently to accomplish duties and responsibilities.
37. Support discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs and user requirements. This is required across various departments
38. Support requirements analysis and formulate specifications for impacted systems
39. Contribute to the design, development and testing of RPA processes
40. Work closely with relevant teams internally to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of RPA processes
41. To create and maintain conceptual/business, logical and physical data models and determine metadata querying requirements
42. Building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on operating metrics.
43. Identifying the key financial and non-financial risks, recommending actions for mitigation of those risks
44. Review all model related reports and provide commentary including forecast error reviews
45. Analyze research data and synthesize raw information into insights and recommendations

About You
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines and must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Outstanding Excel skills- comfortable using formulae, pivots, charts and Advance Excel
• Analyses structured data sets from multiple data sources including reviewing data for completeness and consistency and make recommendation
• Strong system analysis skills – data interpretation and explanation of condition, trends etc.
• Ability to create and maintain conceptual/business, logical and physical data models
• Working knowledge on supporting stakeholders through strong communication skills to understand needs and convey responses.
• Knowledge of basic accounting concept

Nice to Have:
• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, MBA, Computer Science) Have knowledge of data modeling principles including conceptual and logical data models and have the ability to utilize BI tools to represent insights
• Financial modelling experience
• Knowledge of financial theory

Key Experiences and Qualifications

Knowing how to use the Microsoft excel makes it easier to analyze data and find errors.
