Job Summary
- This candidate will be part of an exciting team that will drive product and brand excellence, to be on par and above industry standards. He or she will possess a good understanding of the product in order to carry out their responsibilities well. They will be responsible for the execution and reporting of integrated marketing and communication activities that enhance the brand and product positioning, and have a vital role in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners who are responsible for executing marketing activities to drive usage, engagement and user growth.
The Day-To-Day Activities
- Monitoring the market trends and competitive landscape of the brand, product and industry:
- Keeping abreast of developments in the market with regards to industry news, product innovations and updates, and industry best practices.
- Keeping a close eye on competitor activities in regards to their major product feature updates, campaigns, promotions, features and marketing communications.
- Able to share point-of-view based on insights and understanding of the overall industry landscape and own usage of the product, to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Assist in preparation and management of Digital Business annual, quarterly and monthly communications calendar in alignment with the Product roadmap.
- Assist in management and work with external/agency partners and internal stakeholders to drive effective marketing campaigns from ideation to execution to reporting, that incorporates paid, owned, and earned media to achieve our goals (subscriber growth and active usage/engagement). This includes the following responsibilities:
- Prepare job requisition briefs to the creative and media agency for marketing campaigns.
- Understand the user demographic and behaviors to establish the right platforms, targeting and user segments strategies when devising the brief.
- Work closely with the creative, digital and social media agency and manage them to ensure that all brand and product communication materials are of high quality, fit the brief, and are delivered in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the media agency to ensure that the campaigns are pacing accordingly to drive results.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that campaigns are in line with U Mobile policies and standards.
- Prepare and conduct post-mortem reports with actionable insights to be shared and presented to the team on learnings and how to improve the performance moving forward.
- Identify and establish partnerships to expand the product’s reach and user base.
- Propose partnerships with brands to elevate and expand the product’s position in the market, and grow affinity amongst its target audience.
- Continuous monitoring of initiatives and campaign performance:
- Track and monitor initiatives against the set metrics and KPI’s for success (including downloads, subscribers, active usage, engagement and more).
- Execute any ad hoc day-to-day tasks assigned by manager from time to time.
