Specialist, Communications & Sustainability

Duties & Responsibilities
This specialist role in the Communications and Sustainability department work closely with managers to develop and implement communications plans for different key stakeholders.of U Mobile. He/she will also play a key role within the team to drive initiatives that align with the company’s sustainability agenda and targets. Beyond that, the role requires him/her to assist in day-to-day admin and operations of the department to ensure the success of departmental projects.

Job Requirements
1) Content Development
• Develop clear and impactful communications for corporate, commercial and regulatory initiatives
• Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders, including press releases, newsletters, presentations (e.g Powerpoint, speeches, etc) and social media channels
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging and company representation
• Monitor industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement

2) Sustainability Initiatives
• Work closely with the team to develop and implement sustainability initiatives that are aligned with company’s overall sustainability agenda and goals
• Identify and seek collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives of sustainability objectives
• Constantly keep up to date by researching on industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability
• Involved in the data collation, analysis, drafting and development of annual sustainability reports

3) Stakeholder management
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
• When required, represent the company at relevant events, meetings, conferences, etc
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure consistent and positive engagement with stakeholders

4) Departmental Admin & Processes
• Ensure departmental projects are successful by leading in the day-to-day admin and operations
• Co-ordinate logistics for events and projects
• Manage budgets for departmental projects
