The Day-To-Day Activities
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Postpaid Product Owner to join our Product Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing convergence & Multi-lines postpaid mobile services and grow subscribers in emerging markets. This includes defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.To strategize, identify, source and evaluate new products to meet market demand.
-Understand and identify the market needs based on market insights
-Translating the analysis result into the conceptualization of new products & services
-Benchmark with industry offering and drive for differentiation and competitiveness.
2.Develop products as per specifications and establish product policies and best practices.
-Lead development of user requirement definition and analysis activities, which include facilitating requirements gathering meeting, writing functional requirement, documenting details of user needs for developing new products/services.
-Develop detailed functional specifications that clearly define the business needs, benefits, and deliverables of a project based on user business requirements from product managers/owners.
3.To project manage and lead the cross-functional team to roll out new products on a timely manner.
-Lead the product development of new products/services from concept, business casing, detailed specs, design, implementation, to RFS.
-Determine project, product or service feasibility, cost and time estimates and impact on current and proposed systems
-Develop project plans and manage cross functional resources to meet project deadlines
-Involved in testing activities, which includes executing and running the test cases, documenting and submitting issues to technical team for rectification.
4. Performance tracking and products/services optimisation.
- Monitor product performance and key metrics, including customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize product performance to achieve better cost structures, better service and user experience.
- Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to drive product decisions.
