The Day-To-Day Activities

1. Associate in IP Network design principles, architecture and roadmap. Work with team lead to develop mid-term strategy roadmap and evolution strategy for Mobile IP Core, Fixed Broadband Core and ISP Core. Serve as PIC for product/technology roadmap and updates.
2. Maintain and assess network architecture blueprint to ensure near to mid, mid to long term network architecture in-line with AOP (Annual Operating Plan) or business plan. Coordinating with the team lead on AOP strategy and requirement.
3. Liaison with other department and division to assess and provide solutions to fulfill business needs.
4. Manage and advise overall E2E IP network solution assessment, evaluation and recommendation.
5. Take part in topology design for E2E IP network, review of vendor solution, deployment and capacity management of the IP nodes.
6. Participate in RFPs (Request for Proposal) & IPF (Investment Proposal) preparation, solution review with costing & seeks for team lead endorsement for project rollout.
7. Involve in IP Network cost optimization and network modelling, including vendor evaluation and costing comparison.
8. Work as a team to conduct technical feasibility studies and strategy for current and future technology.
9. Engage with vendors on project requirement and information gathering.
10. Method of Procedure (MOP) preparation and coordinate for integration between vendors and operation.
11. Assist and joint troubleshooting with operation and vendors for critical incident.
12. Project completion handover documentation preparation.
13. Perform IP nodes performance and capacity observation and produce weekly report.

About You

1. Bachelor's or associate's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/IT/Networking or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in IP networking and telecommunication (or relevant) with minimum 2 years exposure to new technology solution and Mobile IP Network planning/design.
3. Possess relevant knowledge of ZTE/Huawei/Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/F5 product roadmap and hand-on configuration.
4. Strong technical solutioning in IP Network with switching/routing/SDN and future technology trends.
5. Good knowledge in Mobile 2G/3G/4G/5G, Fixed Network, ISP Network, Enterprise Core, Cloud Networking & Public DNS.
6. Outstanding in analytical, problem solving and presentation skills with strategic thinking.
7. Certified with ZTE/Huawei/Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/F5 in switching/routing/security as technical foundation & PMP for softskill is an added advantage.

1. Mobile network technology knowledges in 2G/3G/4G/5G/Fixed Network in the domain of CS/PS/RAN/OSS/Transmission and IP Core.
2. Familiar with IPTX, IX Peering, Direct Peering and CDN.
3. Knowledge in AOP (Capex/Opex) planning methodology.
4. Understanding of 3GPP standard/architecture and Mobile Network service protocol.
5. Strong foundation in hardware dimensioning for ZTE/Huawei/Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/F5.
6. Hand-on configuration for ZTE/Huawei/Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/F5 with indepth understanding of STP/VRRP/HSRP/OSPF/ISIS/EIGRP/BGP/MPLS/QoS/IPv6.
7. Having fundamental in Public DNS, DDoS, 5G security and 5G MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) is an added advantage.
8. Holding professional certification in network design and security is value added.
