The Day-To-Day Activities
Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and manage roaming agreements with domestic and international mobile network operators (MNOs) to secure favourable terms and conditions, maximize revenue, and expand roaming coverage for UM’s subscribers.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies and business models for roaming services, analysing market trends, competitive landscape, and UM’s subscriber behaviour to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, international roaming regulations, and data privacy laws, assisting in liaising with legal and regulatory teams to mitigate risks and address compliance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, marketing, customer service, and finance departments, to support seamless integration and interoperability of roaming services and deliver a superior customer experience.
• Monitor and analyse roaming traffic, usage patterns, and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for service improvements, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.
• Manage relationships with roaming partners, roaming hubs, and other stakeholders in the roaming ecosystem, fostering strong partnerships, resolving conflicts, and driving collaboration to achieve mutual business objectives.
• Prepare and present regular reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews to management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities in roaming operations.

About You
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or related field
• 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with exposure to roaming services and international business operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and insights, and support in translating findings into actionable business strategies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, international roaming regulations, and industry standards related to roaming services is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
