The Day-To-Day Activities
Job Purpose
Procure the assigned products and services; ensuring end-users' requirements are met or exceeded either through a tender process or direct negotiation with benchmarking to ensure best value for money and to contribute towards U Mobile’s business objectives and goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Insurance Policy Management: To assist in the review, negotiation, and renewal of insurance policies. To assist in ensuring all company assets and operations are adequately insured. To maintain up-to-date records of all insurance policies.
•Claims Management: To coordinate and monitor insurance claims, from filing to resolution/payment reimbursement. To liase with internal counterparts, brokers, insurers and legal counsel to resolve claims efficiently.
•Analysis and Reporting: To analyse and report the coverage, premium, and claims data to identify trends and recommendations for improvements.
•Process Improvements: To understand ongoing process improvement within Insurance and Claim Management. (e.g. automation, streamlines).
•Awareness and Training: Coordinate with broker to conduct insurance training and awareness within UM (around 4 training a year).
•Insurance Guidance: To assist in providing guidance for vendors or 3rd party contracts with regards to insurance. To be the point of contact for all insurance related matters for internal and external parties e.g. Project, internal and external audit queries, queries from internal UM departments.

About You
Minimum at least 5 years of experience in insurance administration and management. Added advantage if relevant experience in telco industry.

Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economic, Insurance, Risk Management or related fields.
Sound knowledge in insurance policies, risk management practices and regulatory requirements
Strong stakeholder management and engagement across the organisation
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Words.
